Mostly when I'm on my monk and looking to make a pug team, I'm joking around:

"Drunken Healer/Monk looking for dwarven ale in mission, help me find it"
or "Looking to heal targets (who don't need it) - plz whisper"

or something other ...

But mostly I stay with my guildies, we actually joke around all mission long

One of the best I saw was a N/Mo spamming: "Pokemon Master...erm...Minion Master lfg". I found it amusing.

Some of the more annoying ones I've seen is the all caps:

"LFG [CLASS] FOR [THING]"

or if the grammar errors are more your thing...

"LF G[CLASS]F OR[THI N.G]"

Look, I'll give you points for actually using a period, but... Still.

"LFG" wins it, hands down.

LFG for what? the Mission? Bonus, maybe? or a peer group? Group Therapy? A specific group? (The henchies are over under those banners, if that's the group your looking for.)

Slightly off-topic, One line I find particularly annoying is "WTS (nice, or at least decent) weapon, 20k (or more ususally PM offers) - NO NOOBS! Saw a guy do that in Tombs last night, my guildies and I decided to have a bit of fun with him. I asked "What's a noob?" other smart-alek remarks were made, and the "NO NOOBS" part came off the ad real quick

Hell's Precipice with guildies last night, and we already had six people. The group leader got a join request from a warrior and a monk. We were setting up when over guildchat two more guildies said they'd join the party at Hell's. And well, sorry, but guildies have priority over random pickups.

The team leader told the warrior and the monk, "Sorry, but we've got guildies coming, so we'll need you to drop please."

Their response: "----ing retards! LOL u'll never make it without us! stupid ----! i do ur mom!"

Uh, yeah, very mature.

Hell's Precipice was a cakewalk with guildies, as usual.

My favorites:

"LFG or LFR" - if you're willing to get "run" through a mission, chances are you ain't gonna contribute much.

"LFG for mission - will tip leader" - this screams that you're a level 10 or below character, and won't get invited to any party.

"Tank LFG with two monks" - narrow your selection criteria further, why don't 'cha. Chances are, if a group has two monks already, they are picking and choosing who they want in the group, and it ain't gonna be a tank that already acknowledges that he's gonna need some major healing.
